A source in Al-Ahly: A noticeable improvement in the condition of Muhammad Al-Shennawi, and he may join the summit

 A source inside Al-Ahly club revealed that the condition of Mohamed El-Shennawy, captain of the red team, is improving in terms of her response to treatment for a torn hamstring muscle, which he suffered during his participation in the Egypt team’s last camp in his matches against Libya.

Al-Ahly had announced the absence of Al-Shennawi for a period of 5 weeks, more than a week had passed, after he underwent the necessary x-rays, and there was about a month left, according to the assurances announced by Al-Ahly’s medical system.

The source stressed that El-Shennawy's condition is improving significantly, and his position will be evaluated two weeks from now, after which his position on participating in group training and then participating in official matches will be determined.

The source explained that Al-Shennawi’s position was not determined from catching up with the summit match against Zamalek on November 5, which will be determined based on the assessment that Al-Ahly’s captain will be subject to two weeks from now, and he may join the match if he fully recovers before the match date.

Al-Ahly is preparing for the National Guard match, which will be held next Saturday evening, in the second leg of the 32nd round of the African Champions League.

The first leg match between Al-Ahly and the National Guard, which was held in Niger, ended in a positive tie with a goal for each of them, and the team is seeking to settle its qualification for the 16th “group stage” from Cairo.
